Support – Support types are listed based off public contact information provided by the websites. Most list public phone numbers which can be called. Live support means some sort of web-based chat to talk to live support agents at the registrar.
Retail Pricing – retail pricing is defined as the advertised rate for a purchase of one domain name. Sale/Limited Time offers are generally not counted.
Bulk Pricing – lowest price for purchasing domain names (often in bulk, sometimes over 1000 domains worth). These prices are often NOT advertised and have been acquired through direct contact or resellers.
Domain Forwarding – This is defined as a way to point your domain to an existing webspace. Sometimes this requires their hosting plan, the cheapest way to do it through the particular registrar is listed. Often this comes in a package with other features and should be investigated specifically at the registrar if a cost is associated with it.
Email Forwarding – this is defined as a way to redirect or receive mail at your domain through the registrar. Sometimes this requires their hosting plan, the cheapest way o do it through the particular registrar is listed. Often this comes in a package with other features and should be investigated specifically at the registrar if a cost is associated with it.
Reseller Program – any sort of system allowing a user to create an account and resell through it whether it be a turnkey, api or other solution under some sort of branded interface.
Affilite Program – Commission based program for referring users to the actual registrar.
API – Application Programming Interface – a programmable way to interact with the registrar (normally reserved for resellers to design custom interfaces, control panels and management solutions for their domains).
Masked Whois – a whois entry that is altered to hide email/identity of the registrant.
Hosting – Some sort of web hosting solution is available from the registrar.
Payment Methods – Any payment method that a registrar accepts on their website is listed, while actual credit cards may vary, generally Visa and Mastercard are accepted at all. Not all payment forms are available to everyone, some require reseller or bulk status to use.
